SANTO DOMINGO (AccessDR) -- The Viva Wyndham Tangerine, the Be Live Collection Marien, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana and the Barcelo Santo Domingo issued special awards by the Cristal International Standard consulting company, a world leader a world leader in food and beverages quality programs.
The awards were issued in the “Regional Winner 2015” category.
The awards are issued to hotels that made the greatest efforts last year to provide its customers with a safe and healthy environment. Also, for the excellent treatment in food products and beverages that comply with national and international standards.
The Crystal International Standard company implements programs to prevent food and water-borne diseases in the tourism sector. It currently operates in four continents and 55 countries.
The annual surveys carried out by Crystal International Standard have become a benchmark of quality and compliance with protocols and guidelines followed by the World Health Organization (WHO), CODEX Alimentarius, and the International Federation of Tour Operators (FTO).
Viva Wyndham Tangerine. A 273-room hotel, situated 20 minutes from Puerto Plata’s international airport. The hotel is located in Cabarete, the north coast tourism town also known as the Caribbean kiteboarding and windsurfing capital. The restaurant features three restaurants and two bars.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana. This 1800-room all-inclusive five-star hotel features a convention center with capacity for five thousand guests, 11 restaurants and eleven swimming pools.
Be Live Collection Marien. Situated in the north coast city of Puerto Plata, it is an all- inclusive 584-room hotel with four restaurants.
Barcelo Santo Domingo. The 216-room hotel is situated in Santo Domingo, the Dominican capital city. It also features two restaurants, a piano bar and a Cigar Lounge.
