PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (GISL) -- The Retiree Adolescent Partnership Programme (RAPP) of the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services hosted a Youth Seminar entitled “Transforming Lives,” focused on choices and challenges currently affecting young people, on Saturday June 25th 2016 at the Gospel Hall Church, La Horquetta.
Approximately one hundred persons including the Guanapo Police Youth Club and the RAPP Centres of the Valencia, Laventille, Belmont and Couva regions attended the seminar.
Speaking during the seminar, Life Skills Tutor Ms. Cyrillia Sellier spoke to participants on the topic “Problem Solving and Decision Making”. Also in attendance was Dr. Clive Dottin and Pastor Kishod Frank who both delivered powerful presentations on “Attitude and Behaviour” and “Self-awareness and Identity” respectively.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family Services was proud to host such an event and will continue to invest in programmes that provide a platform for mentoring and helping adolescents.
