CHARLOTTE AMALIE -- Senator Myron D. Jackson, chairman of the Committee on Culture, Historic Preservation, Youth & Recreation, thanks the Virgin Islands community who exercised their right to vote Tuesday, and thanked them for re-electing him to office.
"I would first like to thank God, and you the voters for your prayers, support, and precious votes for my re-election to the 32nd Legislature," Senator Jackson said. "You have my commitment that I will represent and serve you well and continue to uphold the public trust and integrity of the office you have elected me to serve.
He also recognized his fellow senators who were also seated in the new Legislature.
"Congratulations to all the successful candidates, and I look forward to working with you on behalf of the people of the Virgin Islands. Thank you, and God bless the Virgin Islands," Senator Jackson said.
